Wayne began practicing as a lawyer in 1982, having graduated from the University of Auckland. In 1988, he established his own law practice and has worked on his own account ever since, building lasting relationships with clients across a broad range of legal matters.
Throughout his career, Wayne has acted for private clients across a varied and wide-ranging field of work. On 1 February 2026, he merged his practice with SDM Law, where he continues to provide the same trusted services his clients have come to rely on, now backed by the broader resources and expertise of the wider firm.
Outside of the law, Wayne has a number of interests that keep him grounded. His family, including his grandchildren, is central to his life. He is a keen cyclist and enjoys travel, reading and art, and places great value on maintaining longstanding friendships.
